Membership

Joining the club gives you the right to use all club facilities and to join in all the club events and outings. Members receive a weekly emailed newsletter, and have access to the members' contact list (enabling you to contact others to organise informal paddling trips).

Members also enjoy the benefits of BCU and OCA affiliation, which entitle you to attend all their events.

Members also get 10% off at the Riverside Centre Oxford.

Yearly rates, running from 31st March-30th March, are:

Enhanced membership
To qualify for enhanced membership you must be 2*, open canoe or kayak.
You will receive a key to the Blue End of the Water shed and can take out boats stored at any time, unless boats being used for D of E, or sea trips.
At present, 2 opens, several sea kayaks, the odd short kayak and a Weekender there.. Members should canoe in group of at least 3 as per the BCU rules.
Cost: £20 per year on top of normal membership, £30 for family.

Prospective members with a medical or other problem will be accepted at the discretion of the club, bearing in mind that the priority must be the safety of the individual and the group.
