Isis Wave is a part of Isis Canoe Club designed for people who want to experience sea kayaking, mainly kayak surfing, in white water boats, surf skis or sit-on-tops. All you have to do is bring your boat, or borrow one from the club.

All coaches are "British Canoe Union" trained and qualified and therefore insured.

We paddle anywhere as long as there are waves, usually in south Wales or south England.

Isis Wave aims to provide fun, safe training; allowing you to surf by understanding the etiquette of the wave. You will learn to paddle out and over, and ride the wave back in with confidence. Additionally, you will learn the importance of leadership, building trust, reading the sea and using a compass, all in the company of new friends. All experienced or confident kayakers are welcome. Being able to roll is not essential, but it does make life easier because it is sometimes a long swim.
